We’re pumped to announce our sponsorship of “The Road,” a new original comedy series featuring top reggae-rock band Artikal Sound System. The series premieres on Tuesday, August 9th, and airs exclusively on Surf Roots TV every Tuesday at 10 am and 2 pm, and then again at 10 pm and 2 am.

In the style of entertaining and humorous shows like “The Office”, “The Road” follows Artikal Sound System and their shenanigans as they tour nationally, playing reggae fests and theater gigs across the U.S.
The band consists of lead singer Logan Rex, guitarist Chris Montague, bassist Fabian Acuna, drummer Adam Kampf, and keyboard player Christopher Cope. They just completed a nationwide tour with Dirty Heads, SOJA, and Tribal Seeds, and are preparing for their headline ‘Psilocybin’ tour kicking off on August 11th.
Each episode focuses on one member of the band. Episode one features keyboardist Cope coping with the consequences of inadvertently taking a male enhancement pill.
